Just yesterday I read the sentence "Who remembers Samuel Pepys anymore?" in The New York Times (see 'Samuel Pepys': The Man Behind the Diaries ; thanks to ::: wood s lot :::).
Now all of a sudden Samuel Pepys is everywhere!
- On BBC Radio 4's Book of the Week starting next Monday (not the diaries, but Claire Tomalin's new biography of Pepys).
- In the news at BBC NEWS | UK | 'Why I turned Pepys' diary into a weblog'.
- Serialized on the Internet for the next ten years as (appropriately) The Diary of Samuel Pepys.
